Remembering my "RIDE Unknown"

Always have the passion to ride for long distance.

This ride was named after my return as "Ride unknown". Just because i never know where i was travelling until i find new places on the way.

The Keynote about this ride , it is the "1300" km ride on a time period of 3 days.

That time i was not married. Why am i remembering this now? Just because i wanted a another free ride and remembered the old one. When people get older they think about the past always.

I was in an hectic work pressure and politics in my concern and wanted a change for sure. Sudden decision to take leave on a friday and start travelling.Doesn't know the state of my vehicle still started travelling.

This ride started interestingly. My good friend Ku wanted to come with me and last minute he stepped back. So i have to ride alone. Yes it is a Solo Ride.

Started around night 9PM from chennai Taramani to Trichy. Reached Trichy around 2:30PM. Got a place to stay in Srirangam. Then took bath in Kaveri and went to few places.

Started again from Trichy by 9AM to Dindugal , Reached there by 11AM. From Dindugal to Udumalaipet. That stretch was an awesome one. Lovely roads, windmills etc , anything cant matching one. Reached Udumalaipet , went to my friends Home and his father drove my bullet as he has driven a bullet that before also. Good time there.

Then from Udumalaipet started to my ride towards Munnar. Startd by 4PM and reached by 7PM. Bad mist and fog all the way. It was an hectic ride. Took a room there , had food , roam around happily.
Next day morning all way to roam around Munnar.

After all that started back to Coimbatore , had awesome food at Gowri Shankar hotel. Went to Avinashi temple. Post that it was travel back to Chennai. But on the way near atthur(salem) met with a accident due to take diversions. Also it was raining heavily that whole ride. Came back to Chennai the next day morning. All it was a happy ride.

Soon to make such a long ride.

Trichy- This place is always mesmerising

Oh god. This is brilliance to get developed as a city which holds old to the modest of all times.
It has seen rulers, people, varieties in all taste.

I have always mesmerised about not just about Trichy , its about the whole delta region.

Always i wanted to stay in that region once i want to get settled in my future. Kaveri a gold ornament for these region is the best.

These are place of Chola's. Once a long lasting dynasty of more than 250 years.

Excellence

I have been to this place many a times. These days i want to travel more for temples in this region which are archeological assets and cultural evidences. Most peculiar thing about this place is the people still have their own importance for the region compared to any other places.

Always children from village side knows the importance of a place, land and any energy resource compared to city side personalities as it is available in abundant.

Micheals in Trichy is an icecream shop. I had icecream's here for 2 or 3rscper cup. Tasty yummy and talented packing. Murali's coffee shop in srirangam. Temple prasadam's with provision to have it any time.

Take a bath in kaveri is always awesome. No one can feel the best experience of this place until they do it on their own.

Awesome trip to remember. I will keep travelling for that taste.

My Bullet

Royal Enfield Bullet. The name just says it how royal it is by name and looks.

Thats my bullet during a trip to Munnar.

During my childhood my fathers friend who is a traffic inspector used to ride a bullet. That one is a perfect bullet as a traffic police equipments added to it. I used to go on a ride with him often.That was my first influence to bullet.

Post that during my college days i learnt to drive bikes perfectly. I drove a bullet forst time when i went to by my bullet. Just checked in the internet on what all to check technically to buy a bullet and went ahead with this bullet.

After a remodelling.

Still i use my bullet and keep it updated to all forms ride all the times. Have done long and short rides multiple times. Still the best is Chennai to Trichy over a night drive of 5 hrs. Awesome rides include some rides to munnar etc. Often i ride to my home town 100kms away from chennai.

Some more short rides include Mahabs, Kanchi,Cheyyar, Pondy etc.
